From the forests and farms of Bastar
The sweetness of Bastar’s forests, rolled by hand.
Every spring, the mahua trees of Bastar drop their cream-coloured flowers in the early hours of the morning. Families in forest villages gather them by hand from the forest floor and dry them in the sun. For generations, mahua has been part of the Bastar kitchen. Mahua Ladoo turns this forest flower into a traditional sweet.
